從出生、成長到告別，生命中總有一些歌伴著你走過幽谷或晴朗，而那些生活的旋律，承載著每個人獨一無二的日常印記，歐開合唱團以最純粹的人聲，從壯闊的萬物之初、新生命誕生帶來的恩典與歡悅、別離帶來的傷感、婚禮的歡聚喜悅、勞動的汗滴、長輩的智慧、靈魂的安息，再回到初生的向榮，如同流動的微風，輕柔的陪著你一起走過那些日常風景。

邁向第二十年的歐開合唱團，從青春至壯年，從孩子變成父母，慢慢找到自己最舒適的姿態與模樣，和每個平凡又精彩的生命相同，好好唱歌、好好過日子，將生活化成動人的旋律與和聲，在每一個精巧的爵士和弦行進間，找到安身之處，沉澱紛擾的喧囂，安靜溫柔地享受屬於自己那最好的日常。

Entering their twentieth year, O-Kai’s new album revolves around “the stages of life” as the overarching theme, reinventing many Taiwanese indigenous psalms and chants from various different tribes through the form of A cappella, and bringing on board the production power of numerous maestros and Grammy winners/nominees: David Maddux, Andy Jaffe, Michele Weir, Mark Kibble, Darmon Meader, Nicholas Girard, Bill Hare……etc. Incorporated with the sophisticated chord progressions of jazz, they inject new life and energy into the traditional songs of Taiwanese indigenous culture.

關於歐開合唱團
歐開合唱團O-Kai Singers是一個由臺灣原住民組成的阿卡貝拉(A Cappella)合唱團，以無伴奏合唱的方式演唱。成軍兩個月即以黑馬之姿獲得台灣國際重唱大賽冠軍，首張專輯獲六項提名並獲得「評審團獎」、「最佳演唱組合獎」、「最佳原住民語專輯獎」三項大獎，迄今更創下華人最高獲獎紀錄，囊括海內外 44項國際大獎。多次受邀與世界各地頂尖天團同台演出，成團至今國內外巡迴演出場次超過 1000 場，是臺灣當今最受矚目的無伴奏人聲團體。

發祥村的平原，是泰雅的發源地，是我們泰雅的祖居地，是我們大家的根源。我們尊敬的祖先 Buta、Ayen 和 Yabox，給我們堅定的訓示，諄諄的祖訓，不要用木牆彼此隔離，要去繁衍和生活就像劍筍一般茂盛的繁衍，就像藤條一樣堅硬而有彈性。祖先分別時有過承諾，我們是來自同一血源的子民，要嚴守倫理，不要隨便生活，否則祖靈將懲罰我們。打開耳朵仔細領聽，要堅守我們的生活規律，祖先為我們領路，杵著拐杖徐徐的前去。謝謝偉大的祖靈，帶來偉大的生命規範，不要去樹敵，要和平相處，我們要做個現代泰雅人。

作者林正治創作「引思」時年僅十六歲，那時他隨著母親到山上工作，在半山腰上回頭望向自己生長的太巴塱部落，內心有感自身對於部落以及族群的重責大任，思索著該如何引領族人突破現狀，於是哼起歌來，在山上作出了「引思」的旋律。回家後，將阿美族語填入旋律中，完成了令人驚嘆的作品「引思」。

kati’ karo was only 16 years old when he first wrote the song “The Song of Tafalong”. While he was traveling up the mountains with his mother, he looked upon Taibalang, the place he grew up in, and arose within him a profound sense of responsibility for his village and his kin. As he contemplated on how to best help his people break through their current situation, he began humming to himself, and came up with the melody for “The Song of Tafalong”；upon returning home, he filled it in with Amis lyrics, and completed this astounding piece of work.
